One of our favorite stops year after year is Franklin Military Academy. The students there are always so impressive and enthusiastic, and we can thank Staff Sgt. McCray for keeping them (and us) on our toes. As he says, Coats For Kids is a family tradition at Franklin now.
The Coats For Kids team visited Moody Middle School in Henrico County and met a great group of very helpful kids and teachers. They nearly filled up our van with coats and did it all with big smiles on their faces.
It’s our 2nd year visiting Echo Lake Elementary in Henrico County and we came away with over 200 coats again this year. Their staff and kids are so enthusiastic and happy to help, that it’s a joy to be with them.
