Puritan Cleaners Annual Coats For Kids

Coats For Kids 2012

It’s that time of year again!  We love the cooler weather fall brings.
It reminds us that it’s almost time for our annual Coats For Kids campaign to begin!  Since 1988 we have been partnering with our neighbors and friends in the greater Richmond area to provide warm coats to children in need for the winter.   We collect gently used children’s coats (and adult coats too!) that are donated by the generous people of our community.  We inspect clean and inspect each one, and take them all (over 16.000 last year!) to the Salvation Army Christmas Center each year for distribution to families in need.

 How Can I Help?

Individuals donate gently used coats at any of our 13 Puritan Cleaners locations in the Richmond, Virginia area during the month of November.
Schools and organizations (like the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.) love to get the kids involved by organizing their own coat drives, then bring the collected coats to one of our Coats for Kids events. (see our website at www.puritancleaners.com for more information)
