National Dry Cleaning Day – March 3rd

We celebrate National Dry Cleaning Day on March 3rd every year! Dry cleaning is a process that’s been around for centuries, but the process as we know it was pioneered by an African-American tradesman and abolitionist in New York City by the name of Thomas Jennings. • Where’d That Stain Come From?

Your favorite perfumes or colognes make you ‘scent’-sational, but their high alcohol content can stain your garments. In addition to being named the Best Dry Cleaner in Richmond, VA for over 2 decades and one of America's Best Cleaners, we're also committed to doing our part for our neighborhood, and we are proud of our community programs. Through our signature program, Puritan Cleaners Coats For Kids, we've collected well over 300,000 coats for the Salvation Army since we started in 1988. We've also partnered with the Central Virginia Food Bank to raise over 400,000 meals through our 100K Meals program. We also have programs that support our troops, the Junior Women's League, and the Cancer Society. We love the Richmond community, and appreciate your support.

We love watching those guys who sacrifice their bodies […]

Flag Etiquette – Fly it Proudly

Displaying our national symbol is actually mandated by an official Flag Code. For instance, the flag should not be flown in the dark or inclement weather. It should not be used as decoration – that’s a job for bunting, streamers and decorative materials. Always display the blue part on top. When the flag is lowered, it should never touch the ground […]
