All the hard work and school visits and the generosity of our community starts to pay off as the Salvation Army Christmas Center opens and the coats start finding their new homes. This is one of our favorite days of the year. Thanks to all who helped.
We visited Matoaca Elementary School again just before Thanksgiving, and we certainly had a lot to be thankful for. The kids and teachers treated us to a Turkey Trot celebration and gave us a big pile of coats too!
The Puritan Cleaners’ Coats For Kids team visits Crenshaw Elementary for the first time and find, quite possibly, the most excited, enthusiastic group of students that we’ve ever encountered. They were extremely fun to see and they collected a huge pile of coats too.
