This is Debby Friend, District Mentor for seven Puritan Cleaners locations in the Richmond area.  Debby has been with us for 12 years, and started out as a Customer Service Representative at our only drive-thru location on Midlothian Turnpike.

We asked Debby a few questions so you could get to know her better and here’s what she answered:

Tell us a little about yourself and your family – “I have 3 wonderful sons, a beautiful granddaughter, and two very handsome grandsons. Oh…can’t forget my two pup-pups! All of which keep me busy, but I still find time to do the things I enjoy; like sewing, cross-stitching and reading.”

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you like to go? “I want to travel here in the United States.  I would enjoy seeing the rest of this country. One place I would like to visit is Niagara Falls.”

Who is your personal hero? “My personal hero is my MOM! She set such and example for me to follow as I was growing up. I watched her go through many happy and sad times, watched how she handled each situation, and saw how hard she worked. When happy and sad things occurred in my own life, I knew I was strong enough to handle anything because of my MOM! I am a strong woman because I was raised by a strong woman.”

What’s your favorite thing about Puritan Cleaners? “My favorite thing about Puritan Cleaners is our team!”
