PROVIDING NOURISHING MEALS TO CHILDREN IN CENTRAL VIRGINIA

Every Spring we partner with our community to collect food and fund donations for the Central Virginia Food Bank.   Our goal each year is to collect enough food and funds to provide 100,000 meals to needy children and their families in the Central Virginia area. The Central Virginia Food Bank distributes over 75,000 lbs. of food EVERY DAY and the need for food increases in the summer months as children are out of school.

The Central Virginia Food Bank can provide 5 nourishing meals for each dollar that you give. Funds can be donated through our secure online donation page. Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at all of our locations and through our Home Delivery service.

EVERY DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Whether it’s a few dollars, a jar of peanut butter, or a can of tuna, every donation makes a difference in the lives of needy children right here in our community.   If you’ve never been, we highly recommend taking a tour of the Community Kitchen at the Central Virginia Food Bank to see for yourself the difference they make every day in our community and in Central Virginia.
