In addition to being named the Best Dry Cleaner in Richmond, VA for over 2 decades and one of America's Best Cleaners, we're also committed to doing our part for our neighborhood, and we are proud of our community programs. Through our signature program, Puritan Cleaners Coats For Kids, we've collected well over 300,000 coats for the Salvation Army since we started in 1988. We've also partnered with the Central Virginia Food Bank to raise over 400,000 meals through our 100K Meals program. We also have programs that support our troops, the Junior Women's League, and the Cancer Society. We love the Richmond community, and appreciate your support.

Kids Helping Kids – Midlothian Middle Donates to Coats For Kids

Another trip to Midlothian Middle School in Chesterfield yielded a big batch of coats and a lot of smiles. Ms. Morgan’s class did a great job organizing a coat drive and donating to Coats For Kids. Thanks so much for another great coat drive and we look forward to seeing you next year!  

Coats For Kids Ballpark Warming Party 2014

A centerpiece event for the Coats For Kids program each year is the Ballpark Warming Party. The Flying Squirrels put on a great day as we collect and van-full of coats and have a lot of fun too. Thanks to the Flying Squirrels, WRIC TV8, and all the folks who came out and helped.

Kids Helping Kids – Swift Creek Elementary Donates to Coats For Kids

The Coats For Kids team found ourselves again at Swift Creek Elementary and we were greeted with a very enthusiastic bunch of kids. We were also greeted by tables piled high with coats. Their spirit is contagious and we always love visiting this school.
